Op 20 juli komt dan eindelijk de film Dunkirk uit, waarvan scènes zijn opgenomen in Nederland. De regisseur van de film, Christopher Nolan, was op zoek naar een uitstekende cast en koos voor niemand minder dan... Harry Styles!

In een interview met Billboard vertelde Christopher Nolan dat hij helemaal niet afwist van Harry's muzikale carrière?! "I mean, my daughter had talked about him. My kids talked about him, but I wasn't really that aware of it. So the truth is, I cast Harry because he fit the part wonderfully and truly earned a seat at the table."

Harry was onwijs verrast door de hele productie achter de filmopnames van Dunkirk: "I'd say realizing the scale of the production was very overwhelming. I think whatever you imagine kind of a giant film set to be like. You know the boats and the planes and the volume of bodies… it was pretty amazing."

Natuurlijk hopen we dat Harry vaker op het witte doek zal verschijnen. Er zijn meerdere artiesten die ook de filmwereld in gaan, want Rihanna kun je binnenkort ook bewonderen op het grote scherm!
